Touch is a language older than words
The Art of Touch
A sensual, grounded workshop on touch, connection, movement & conscious boundaries
Just a strong hug can warm our souls, ignite a fire in our hearts, and give us chills and goosebumps. A sincere hug is worth more than any other gift, even the most expensive. Through hugging, we give and receive energy that supports our shared emotional well-being.
Touch is a natural human need — soothing, regulating, and deeply connective. And yet, in modern culture, touch is often sexualised, misunderstood, or restricted, leaving many people unsure how to give or receive it with ease.
The Art of Touch offers a safe, carefully held space to explore touch as nourishment rather than performance. With clear boundaries, conscious consent, and skilled facilitation, this workshop invites tenderness, presence, and authentic connection to emerge naturally.
Through guided exercises — individually and in pairs — we will explore:
Giving and receiving touch with clarity and consent
Listening to the body and honouring personal boundaries
Discovering what kinds of touch feel supportive, pleasurable, or simply enough
Touch beyond gender roles and expectations
An embodied movement exploration inspired by contact improvisation — where touch becomes fluid, playful, and alive through shared movement, weight, and responsiveness
It is a structured space for touch that’s playful, intimate, and always respectful, allowing the nervous system to relax and trust to grow.
The session will gently culminate in an embodied movement exploration inspired by contact improvisation, where touch becomes fluid, playful, and alive through shared movement, weight, and responsiveness.
Expect warmth, sensuality, laughter, and moments of stillness.
Open to adults — you are welcome to come alone or with a partner.
